Online Management
Assessments Australia’s Online Management System (OMS) allows our clients to access real time information on the status of their programs at anytime. The OMS manages all information provided to us by clients and maintains assessment related data for all projects. The OMS manages the administration process and inherent in the management system are quality assurance requirements that ensure that key aspects of the workflow are addressed as required.
Reports are available to key decision makers at any stage during a project and enable decisions to be made based on current and accurate data.
Use of OMS in Projects
- OMS manages aspects of the Victorian DE&T’s Program for Students with Disabilities. Annually, over 4000 student applications are entered into the OMS and are tracked and processed. At any stage and at any time during the funding cycle, Management can identify the status of any student’s application and generate summary and detailed reports that provide the latest information on the status of the program. In 05/06, the OMS reporting facility was used extensively to manage the classification of students entering the program and the impact that this would have on the overall budget. The 05/06 budget was brought in on target with current and accurate reports from OMS playing a significant role in the decision making process.

- In 2005, Assessments Australia surveyed and analysed Group Home rosters (DADHC) to determine whether changes in roster management practices were accounting for significant increases in the costs of delivering support. OMS was modified to capture the roster data and deliver the quantitative data for the statistical analysis.
